Here are a couple of lap quilts I finished for my nieces. I will be giving them for Christmas. I usually prewash my fabrics but this time I didn't wash until they were finished. I used the color catchers but one has a little spot where the fabric bled. I didn't see it until it came out of the dryer. Any suggestions on how to get it out or is it impossible?

Those are so cute!! I sure hope you can get the run out. Did you sit down and cry? I know I would have!!

Those are both so cute. I hope the Awesome spray works for you.

The one that happened to me was a hand dyed dark blue and it bled onto white. Awesome did the trick, and Yes I had dried it in the dryer.

I have the Awesome by my washer & spray tea stains (I have a slight shake or tremor with age) or food stains & they come right out. I also use Generic Oxyclean in with my wash for whites when I'm not using Clorox.

Love the sweetpeas one. Where did you get that pattern? I'd love to make one of those.

Love them both

They are both adorable!!! I don't prewash unless it is a dark color.
Right now I am prewashing a red.
I use vinegar or salt to help set the colors. And I always use a color catcher.

Very Nice!

The pattern is from Curl-Up Quilts by Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkins. I bought it as a kit that came with the book and the fabric when I was at a quilt retreat in Hillman, MI.

Awesome is at all the dollar stores and is worth far more than the dollar you pay.
