I had forgotten about the cat quilt I started, and the autumn leaves. lol!!!
I'm currently working on the ribbon quilt, for one of my daughter-in-laws, whose birthday is next month. I'm thinking just a bit smaller than a twin size.
~ notice my 'design wall' is my living room floor. I'm guessing if I did have wall space, the brattly animals would just pull it down anyways. lol!!! :-)
Thank you for looking.
Diana :-)

This I'm currently working on for one of my daughter-in-law's. Immediately after I started laying it out, Chester had to get on it. lol!!

Of course my son's dog has to walk across as the picture takes! This one I really wish I would have chosen better darker colors!

Did this last year, and muffed up top right & lower left corners. I'm half thinking of taking the borders off and making it bigger.

I love them all!! But of course, the cat one is my favorite

I'm scrolling down the page thinking... nice... got to the leaves and thought... real nice... then got to the green one and that's gorgeous! I love the colours and the blocks, and the inspector of course! lol

Thank you both! You've made my night!! :D

If you want to make the cat one bigger you could add a wide border, to save pulling bits off.

It's pretty small though, maybe 40" square? That was the size the pattern called for, and as it was my first time following Debbie Mumm's patterns, I was glad at the time to be (almost) done with it. lol!!! But it was actually pretty easy, once I got the hang of it. I can picture it being couch size, smaller than a twin. I like the bright colors in it.

Or to make the kitty one bigger.....leave it as is. Add one row of kitties all the way around the quilt, (or add two rows top and bottom and 1 row down each side), add another border (like the first one), maybe another small border and then you're done...couch size!

You two are wonderful!! Your great minds think alike. Sounds purrfect - a couple more rows, then borders!!! My mind was stuck thinking I 'had to follow how the pattern was'. Duh.
Now after I get this ribbon quilt done, I'll have to go through my stash, and start working on it!
Thanks!!

lol

I'd go with sewjoyce's suggestion too. But be warned, once you start deviating from patterns you're doomed! LOL It's nice being able to put your own touch on something.

Great quilts - I like the one with Chester! I've looked at that pattern several times!
