I made the I Spy quilt to practice hexagons.
The boat quilt was for the grandson of a friend. I got in a rush and cut all the sashing too narrow. I didn't have enough fabric to recut. I don't think they noticed. |
Great quilts.

Cute! Love the idea of fussy cutting stuff for the hexagons! Great for kids!

Great quilts :-)

Love your I Spy quilt. You have some very unique fabrics in it and did a great job on both quilts but really like that I Spy!
|
very nice quilt

They look great to me... :-)

That is the kind of I spy I am going to make where it forms stars. I have started collecting fabrics. Is there a free pattern online for this?

Those are really cute. Was the hexagon one hard to sew?

Love those quilts but I especially love the sailboats. You did a fabulous job on both.
|
Love your quilts, especially the I Spy, since that is what I am gonna be doing next. I see the Cars fabric, my g-sons would love that.

It's not too narrow; it's a design decision. Very nice.
