beachlady - I like that, 'undone stuff' - doesn't sound as bad as UFO! LOL

Uh oh, another to add to the list. It would sure use up some of that fabric we wonder why we bought in the first place.

That is also a Fun and Done quilt as you go pattern.

These are super! I'm going to go to quiltsville right now and print the instructions. I love your quilts!

These are great production quilts to make, and we make them quite often at the Workday at the Post ... one of the ideas we came up with was to select a common color that went through the center of each block ... and then the sashing ... it really makes that strip quilt look grand.
One of the way we produce these string quilts is to cut old sheets or fabric that is too light to be in a quilt into 10.5 to 11 inches square and then sew these stings on to the "foundation" ... with that added weight, we are able to just use a flannel sheet for the inside, add a backing, and you have a great quilt that the most beginner quilter can participate in the production ...
That brown quilt is stunning, I agree! <wave>

These strip quilts are just so appealing to me. I must make one of them. Yours are beautiful!

(gives me reason to buy more stash, too, gotta' get a bunch the "same" color..........probably BLUE! )

I know what you mean I have so many quilts I want to make and so little time to make them. I guarantee you if you make one of these strip quilts, you'll make another they are so fun to do. Thank you Quiltville!!!
