These were really fun patterns. I want to make more!
French Pseudo Braid. Ran out of strips to repeat the braid. Crazy Eights Top & Backing Fabric |
Those tops are beautiful, Chele! I just love the colours, and the braid one looks like fun to do. I bet it was exciting to see it come together.
What is the pattern on the first photo? It looks perfect for some Moda Chez Moi fabric I "mistakenly" bought too much of. Courtepointe |
The pattern is called Crazy Eights by www.bitsnpieces.net. The top can be made with eight fat quarters. Easy, easy.
|
Thanks again for the quick info. I'm going to check out that website. Pattern that use fat quarters seem to be just right, because I don't always know what I'm going to do with them except that I just have to buy them. :-)

love the french braid
|
Nice, I think the first one is my favorite! :)
|
I also love the French Braid.
|
Great job on both Chele. I love the fabrics in the first..nice and wild. I can't believe how even the French braid is. They're both wonderful.
|
I love 'em!!! You do such good work little sister!! :) I love the brave, bold fabric in the first one!! Everything lines up sooooo perty in the French Pseudo Braid!!
|
You did such a great job! Not just with the piecing, but with the colors too. I am impressed!
|
I really like these! The fabrics in the first one are fantastic! I'm trying to figure out the 'faux' french braid.....
Great job! rf |
Wow!! Very awesome Chele! :) Is that you hiding behind the second quilt? lol :)
Good job Chele girl! :) |
Very nice. Can't wait to see them finished. Kyia

Chele,
Love your quilt tops. They are great. Love your fabric choices too. |
Chele:
Just thought I would let you know I talked to Claire today, and she said you do VERY good work for a beginning quilter! She is impressed! And I told her about our little group here on the quiltingboard. I think she'll be checking it out soon! Wendy |
I like them both.. Really good work..
|
I really like your french braid. I like how it gradually goes from pink to green and then to brown...kind of reminds me of pink flowers growing out of the ground.

pretty quilts....
