My daughter does research at the courthouse in VA. for her Surveyor husband. Naturally I made her a courthouse steps quilt. Some records are from 300 years ago. They sure don't move a lot down there.

Thank you all for the comments. I love to hand quilt. It takes alot longer to hand quilt verses machine but, it is so relaxing to a nervous person, as myself. I was raised with hand quilters and have always loved an old, 100 % cotton quilt to snuggle under.

I really like it in the lighter colors. You did a great job all the way around. GREAT Job hand quilting it. Looks like a lot of work! But well worth it for a great finished quilt.
