these are the easiest and fastest thing to make if you are looking for a quickie..
they go on those paper cups that you may get at starbucks or something like that.. instead of the paper rings they give you,, you just slide your own beautiful homemade cuff on and enjoy your beverage twice as much...

Auntie M 12-14-2010 05:53 PM

Are the button loops made of elastic cording to adjust for the cup sizes?

Dragonfly Nana 12-14-2010 05:54 PM

Really cute and a great gift idea!

In a fall swap a lady had sent me a magazine with the pattern in it. All you do is trace the pattern piece and then you cut it out and pin the fabric and cut 2 of fabric and 1 of warm and natural batting and then you sew it all together right sides together on the fabric and place the batting on the bottom and leave an opening for turning and then top stitch adding a cord or elastc and sew on a button. I put velcro on mine and I use it on my thermo mug. Love it and I made one for a Christmas swap partner. I don't remember which magazin it is in. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Nice tutorial, but if I use it, I won't be able to sell them at the next church bazaar. The site says it's bad karma to sell anything from this pattern. Oh, well, they'll make nice gifts.

This is a great idea and yours are nicely done.

amma 12-14-2010 08:34 PM

Awesome gifts :D:D:D

Ramona Byrd 12-14-2010 09:38 PM

What a neat idea. The hand protectors Star Bucks supply only barely protect my hands, even in cold weather.

colleen53 12-15-2010 07:28 AM

i have found this pattern on many sites and this is the only one that says bad kharma..
seems to me that some of the ones that say "original" aren;t their originals at all... look for them on other sites.. they are everywhere.

deltadawn 12-15-2010 07:31 AM

Great item.

Why are they supposed to be bad karma?

Jim's Gem 12-15-2010 09:22 AM

Those are really cute!!!

I like your coffee cuffs!

Girlfriend 04-03-2015 02:37 AM

You can use the corrugated disposable cozy from starbucks as the pattern. Add seam allowance and a bit for the overlap. place around the cup to decide where to put the button. Very easy.

lynnie 04-03-2015 10:17 AM

great coffee cuffs. did you use hair elastics on them.

Lady Jane 04-03-2015 10:43 AM

fred singer 04-03-2015 03:20 PM
