these are the easiest and fastest thing to make if you are looking for a quickie..
they go on those paper cups that you may get at starbucks or something like that.. instead of the paper rings they give you,, you just slide your own beautiful homemade cuff on and enjoy your beverage twice as much... |
Very nice, do you have a pattern that u would b willing to share??
Thank you Happy Holidays |
will you share the pattern thanks
i will try scanning and downloading it to see if i can get it on here...
Those are really cute. Great job.
Are the button loops made of elastic cording to adjust for the cup sizes?
Really cute and a great gift idea!

this is a tute... we used a elastic hair band for the closure... |
In a fall swap a lady had sent me a magazine with the pattern in it. All you do is trace the pattern piece and then you cut it out and pin the fabric and cut 2 of fabric and 1 of warm and natural batting and then you sew it all together right sides together on the fabric and place the batting on the bottom and leave an opening for turning and then top stitch adding a cord or elastc and sew on a button. I put velcro on mine and I use it on my thermo mug. Love it and I made one for a Christmas swap partner. I don't remember which magazin it is in. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Very good tute. Thanks so much
Thanks Colleen for the tute and pattern
welcome to all.. my daughter made these with me to use as gifts for her staff.. she is putting gift cards in them...or maybe hot cocoa and peppermint sticks... anything would be cool. so much you could do with them thruought the year.. just change up the fabric for the holiday..
great stocking stuffers or last minute gift to go along with some tea or coffee/ mug etc.
warm quilt hugs, sue in CA |
those are too cute!!!
Nice tutorial, but if I use it, I won't be able to sell them at the next church bazaar. The site says it's bad karma to sell anything from this pattern. Oh, well, they'll make nice gifts.
This is a great idea and yours are nicely done. |
Awesome gifts :D:D:D
What a neat idea. The hand protectors Star Bucks supply only barely protect my hands, even in cold weather.
i have found this pattern on many sites and this is the only one that says bad kharma..
seems to me that some of the ones that say "original" aren;t their originals at all... look for them on other sites.. they are everywhere. |
Great item.

I like your coffee cuffs!
You can use the corrugated disposable cozy from starbucks as the pattern. Add seam allowance and a bit for the overlap. place around the cup to decide where to put the button. Very easy.
great coffee cuffs. did you use hair elastics on them.
Clever idea there !
