Amazing how the fabric choices make such a difference in the double slice quilt. Thanks for sharing your version.

Love it! Looks very cozy!

It is so cheerful in appearance. I rather picture the Biblical Joseph's coat of many colors something like this. It will be fun to wrap up in this bright gift you are donating to some organization.

Nice color balance and a great back, too.

So simple and yet so pretty. The color makes the quilt. Somebody will be very happy to get this.

What a sweet thing to say, KK... you are always so complimentary! :o

This is the kind of quilt that would live on the couch and be very well loved (and used!) My dad is planning to give me a bunch of his old shirts to quilt with, I think this will be one of the patterns I try :) He's a big guy, so there should be enough for all his grandsons! (and parts of quilts for his granddaughters)

You are right... I have two "shirt" quilts that live on my couches. Cozy to grab and snuggle under, even in the summer when hubby has the A/C down too cold.

Those XXL shirts have a LOT of fabric in them. You'll be surprised at how far they go. I've also done Smoky Mtn. Stars, a churn dash, and a plaid-ish pattern out of my shirts collection:

And just recently I finished this Carolina Crossroads top, by Bonnie Hunter, from her Scraps and Shirttails book:

Shirts make amazing quilts!
