LOL Thanks ladies!!! My daughter made number 2. ARTSY.... I went more traditional with number 1. My daughter did the swirly background one because she figured hers would never get quilted. She doesnt sew to much...lol.. She will be leaveing and going back to Iowa in a couple days. More than likely I will finish hers and send it on out to her. They need the backing fabric. As for number 1... I will quilt it and let you all see it when I get it done... You sure made my daughters day by choosing her I can tell ya that!!! Today was her 32nd bday and she was dancing around,,, I WIN I WIN WIN< lol, Thanks again to you all..

I like the second one better because I like the background fabric better. Both are very nice!

I like #1 better - I think I prefer the plain background. It makes the applique stand out better. JMHO
