Wow! Looks like several people are thinking about doing this.
To Grammo013 and KO24, I got it from QuiltersCasche (sp) Also known as Quilt Blocks Galore. She calls it Planned Patch Hood. I changed it slightly. It calls for one more square of each color to "push" into the next block. I had one block laid out in front of me and thought it looked good that way. It is very easy. To Peabee and Sewaholic, it is 4 little squares of each color. I like so much that you can make them whatever size that pleases you. |
Like it! I reminds me of the tetris game.

Thanks for posting your picture. i really like it. I am making quilts for nursing home. This would work well and looks easy enough.

What a nice looking quilt.
One of my friends has just about finished hers using this pattern, she collected all kind of poka-dots and it's wild! Bright and so attractive. The great accomplishment is, she is almost blind. One of the lady's in our group made her some flanel boards 10 X 10" and she arranged all the blocks that needed to be sewing together on the boards and then numbered them and stacked them for her. Great idea! Love your quilt! |
That is nice....gonna have to put it on the to do list...

I think yours is so much easier, The other way though it looks good uses too much brain power.
Thanks for sharing your clever idea. |
I like that! good way to use of scraps especially the ones I got from the 3" squares swap last year. Very clever.
