Cranston print
1 Attachment(s)
I decided to do a runner out of this 2004 Cranston mitten print. The piece is long enough and I am going to appliqué 3 mittens down the center. I have the red one done with the edges turned under using the interfacing and glue method. I really like it for large applique pieces. I will use Wonderunder on the small pieces of applique I think I will mimic the patterns on the mittens in the fabric. I am going to do the blue mitten with the snowman and the green one with candy canes.

I was thinking about Cranston this morning when I cut off a selvage edge of theirs. In the 70's their stuff was about all I could find in quilting cottons.
Do they still make fabric? |
Love the mitten print... what a great project for your fabric.
