Spot on Diane007. I sewed lots of 4inch crazy patch blocks, joined them together to make one piece and then cut each of my applique pieces from joined crazy patch blocks. Machine appliqued to background.

It is quite heavy when finished but it will be a floor play quilt or a wallhanging.
