Wow, wow, wow. If you start quilting like you did cross stitch, you will be in for a surprise. How did you print the faces and then know what color threads to use. They are unbelievably good.

What a wonderful collection of your beautiful work. I love doing cross stitch but I get bored about half way through. I have opted for smaller projects that I can finish. But would love to have the determination to do as you have done. I hope the recipients of these lovely pieces really appreciate them. Each portrait consists of 90 colors of thread. Embroidered Portet 1 month to 8 hours a day. Some portraits unfinished. The right mood and state of mind. Incredible! I'm a cross-stitcher who's recently "converted" to being a quilter. One of my plans is to do some cross-stitch blocks to incorporate into a quilt. I'm a;ready working on a redwork quilt and think it's fun to use other forms of needlework in my quilts.
