It's lovely, and you both have reason to be proud. Great project. Beautiful light affect!

Your GD did a wonderful job! Congratulations to you both!!

That is marvelous! Her confirmation will mean more to her for years to come because you helped her with this wonderful project.
I am working on the log cabin cross wall hanging that was introduced here on the board a few weeks ago. I hope mine turns out as nice as yours. Something happens when a person blends their faith with hands-on art. And it is even more meaningful when done with someone who loves you. God bless your granddaughter! |
Now that's a real "stunner". Congrats to the maker and also on her Confirmation.

That is a terrific gift to mark such a special occasion in her life.

The quilt is beautiful.

That is just beautiful. I did one with the 3 crosses on the hill for my spare room. The church fell in love with it so I ade them one. Mine began with 2" square fabric and was done similar to this one. Now I have mine and the church has theirs.

That is a wonderful quilt! I bet the church didn't want you to take it back home.

The quilt is lovely...and I love the fact that she wanted to work with you to mark a very special time in her life.

This is stunning; the use of yellow behind the cross gives it a wonderful glow, illuminating the cross. and accentuated by the quilting "rays". As another member said, it is inspirational. Congratulations to you both on this project and to your granddaughter on her Confirmation.
