i love the chicken scratch stitch. can you explain how to do the back part of the stitch - i can't see the picture well enough to see how you keep it neat. i'm assuming the thread between stitches is in the middle of the sandwich but don't see how the back part is made.

How very cute!! My grandma used to call that "chicken scratch" and she used it a lot on her "utility" quilts...

Your quilt is really cute and I love your quilting with the crow foot tacking, it really adds something great to the quilt.
