Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville coined the phrase "crumb" quilts. She used all those small odds and ends left over from cuts or even small blocks (ie HST's, 9P, or 4P and) and built a seemingly senseless (and mindless) block cut to a certain size. Then joining them together in random order.

Looks good, love all the colors. I didn't really know what a crumb quilt was, now I know and I love the look, especially all those colors.

Even though the blocks are chaotic the quilt is not because of how you sashed it. It keeps the chaos contained. One of the few scrappy quilts I'd consider doing.
