I have that pattern in my stash and have never made it...I think it is about time I dig it out and whip up a few. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

How about if you make the opening under where the icing meets the cupcake. It's a little of overhang and you wouldn't be able to see it once it's turned. They are quite nice.
