This is a quilt I am currently working on. The pattern is Courthouse Steps (with a mistake).

The reason for the space is I am going to use a "joining" strip to match the material I use for the backing/binding.

The pattern is: courthouse steps. The color line is Blessings. I used jelly rolls for this one to reduce the amount of cutting.

GREAT news for my pocket book! I don't have to use sashing afterall. It turns out I am going to get to go back to my original idea of just using two outside borders. I laid it out on the bed and found out it fits :)

And done! Only needed one border. Good thing I keep laying it out on my bed for true sizing.

The glaring mistake in the second row is because I tried to layer cut and lost track of my strips.

Will be sending out for professional quilting as I cannot handle a quilt this size with my little machine :) I will also ask her to bind it for me because I am not very good at it. Will be celebrating my one year quilting anniversary in August.
