This is going to be Hub's birthday quilt. He gets one every year for supporting my fabric habit. He gave me Cathy Wierzbicki's book for Christmas.
I've been putting the blocks on the wall as I finish them. I have many more to do. Nowhere near the final layout. |
That is going to be one fabulous quilt. Keep us posted as you progress:)

Very cool!

OOOh I need to see a bigger picture, looks like it's going to be a beauty.
|
wow that is awesome
|
I cannot wait until we see the finish quilt. I am very fortunate that my husband does not mind that I purchase fabric. I try to purchase it when it is on sale. Maybe I should make my husband a thank you quilt. Thank you for your suggestion :-)

Love your cubes, can't wait to see them finished.

Love cubes. They are my favorite. When my kids are over I show them pictures from here made with cubes. They love them also. I told them to enjoy the pictures like I do cause I can't do something like that. Yours are gorgeous.

Looking great Debra!

That's awesome. I was showing my husband some of the quilts on here and he really likes the cube ones.....I might have to make him one

I have always admired this pattern. Does it have 'Y' seams in it. Looks very difficult! I love your colors.
|
no y seams. Super simple. sewn in rows. That's why I haven't sewn them together yet. I need to get the cubes exactly in the position I want for the final layout.
you can find her pattern here: http://www.timetoquilt.com/timetoquilt/quilts.htm |
