I am having a sewing room built into my late husband's shop, and have really worried about curtains. What a great idea. I've seen valance's but not curtains, and that will be a great idea. Thank you for the post, and keep the great hints coming, I need all the help I can get.

WOW, I don't think I've ever gotten anything for 15 cents. Lucky find.
|
What a clever idea! I love the colors. and it is a great use of a top that was made from scraps. I will be doing something for my sewing room soon, and I might just steal your idea!

I like the look of the light shining through the fabric!
|
I love the idea. A friend of mine just hung a quilt over her window to keep the Az heat out. It looks beautiful too.

Your curtain is beautiful. I love the way the light shines through. This reminds me of Pojagi. I need a small curtain at my kitchen window and I have been looking at Pojagi tutorials as I think the curtain could look like stained glass in my window. This photo is very encouraging. Thanks for posting.

Love it. I have used pretty sheets for curtains also. Love the quilt rack / curtain rod.
|
You've got a little shelf over the window now too! Great place to display vintage sewing items or store large cones of thread.
