cute pin cushions
 

I embroidered and made these cute pin cushions. I have several DGD's who are learning to sew. I thought they would make great stocking stuffers for Christmas. They are filled with ground nut shells.

Those are pretty. What size did you make those?

They are 4 inch squares and once I figured out how to sew them together, they were easy. I used a cut awat stabilizer behind the embroidery and I left it in the middle for a little added body to the pin cushion. You could leave them plain or use a cute print fabric.

I made these sweet little girls as toys, then sold them to someone who wanted to use them as pincushions!

Sew adorable! Hope you, or the kids do not have mice in the house. My husband used ground nut shells sold for model railroad ground cover and the mice got in and made a mess! They also found the extra bags he had and ate through the plastic for them. Guess they retain a tasty smell for critters.
