A friend asked me to make a quilt for her daughter for Christmas. She wanted it done in neutral colors. So happy she likes it, because a had a hard time making a tone on tone quilt. Definitely out of my comfort zone. |

Subtle colourings like this are great. Too often we get trapped that quilts need to be loud and proud, but far from it. This one is a beauty ... well done! The recipient sure looks pleased! |

That turned out beautiful.
I was just thinking today about making a neutral quilt after having seen one at a quilt show. It would definitely be outside of my comfort zone. Maybe I'll start with a small crib quilt first. LOL Yours turned out very nice. |
