Dachshund Quilt - done 15 minutes before the party! Whew!
 

Sooo my youngest son's best friend's mom had a baby uhhh... last November... and I was going to make her a baby quilt... while I was out on Friday, shopping like a fiend, my youngest was invited to the 1 year birthday party for the baby... so I knew I had to finish that quilt and soon!!

I finished literally with 15 minutes to spare which was long enough for me to grab a quick shower before delivering the quilt - they loved it :D

Here are a few pictures of it. It is adapted from the I'm a Wiener quilt out of the Dare to be Square book. The flowers are a modern dresden plate....

I guess I'm officially a quilter if I finish a quilt 15 minutes before we have to leave and give it away! I'm glad I took pictures of it finished....

I quilted it on my Tin Lizzie sit down. It's my first big project I did on the Lizzie. She sews like a dream!
