OK I followed your instructions until the 2 magnetic clasps, front to back, side to side?

Could you show a photo of the inside?

Thanks! Your bag is really beautiful!

Great job Mary.....love it! :-D

Hi Mona,

I did not have a pattern. It's real simple however. Just sew 44 charms together and form an oblong box. Add lining and handles and you're done. :)

Have fun

Hi there IBQltn.

Thanks for your nice comment. I've attached a photo. Maybe this will help. I put a snap in the normal spot for a tote so the bag will close from front to back. Then I add a snap in the side seams so the sides also will come together....that's what gives the bag the pyramid shape. Hopefully you can see from this picture however the snap on the side is hidden but it's attached in the side seams.

What's nice about this is that when you don't have a lot of stuff to carry, you snap both snaps up and your bag is not one giant floppy tote. You are carrying something that's slimmer and shaped like a pyramid. When you have a ton of stuff to carry, you only snap the one snap in the front and the bag looks like a regular tote.

I'm sorry, this is not easy to describe. I hope it makes sense.

Mary

Thanks Jan. I live in AZ so it's warm most of the year here. In fact, last week we had a day that hit 99 degrees! Whew, but it's a dry heat. :)
