WOW love your quilt...... When I can't get my blanket stitch even I deliberately make the rest of it uneven and call it the country style lol

Then my sandwich came out wonky. I actually ripped out the quilting (only a couple of rows each time) because I was getting all kinds of wrinkles on the back. Finally got enough advice to figure out what I was doing wrong.

It ain't perfect, but it is one of my better quilts. Maybe even the best I've done --so far--.

Actually cute! Keep in mind, handstitching (as in blanket stitch) is not meant to be perfectly done with precise spacing, etc.. Any work is art is meant to be looked at from a distance anyway, so those minute flaws will never be noticed. I think you did a great job at doing the cutouts of those different dog breeds--and they're very recognizable.

Gorgeous quilt!

The only thing that could possibly make your quilt better -- add a Boston Terrier to the doggie collection.

I'm so glad you saw the light and let go of that perfection thing. So, overrated!

Adorable!

Very Cute, I am a dog lover! Congratulations on finishing it!

Glad you decided to finish it. Try adhessive spray next time you are ready to quilt . It made the whole process easier and go without difficulty. I've pinned, but the spray proved that it was worth the prep time to use it.

Keep on going. You will get better with each quilt you make. Your friend will cherish the one you gave her.
