Decided I needed a new tablecloth

After a pretty rough holiday I ventured into my sewing room. Decided I needed a new winter table cloth for our table.
this is just the top.
I did put a white backing on it, quilted squiggly lines down each triangle and finished the edges.
The fabrics other than the two batiks are winter- snowflakes, sparkles & metalic trees

How striking. Love your fabric selection, and it is a perfect winter theme tablecloth. At first, I saw the star but then your colors made me think of ice crystals. Is this paper pieced?

Love your winter table cloth. Hope the New Year gets off to a great start. Yes, the sewing room is comforting when life gets a bit crazy.

no, this is not Paper pieced. Used a 30* wedge ruler on strips cut at 12 1/2” to make the triangle wedges then played with layout. Stitch the two wedges to a center ( outer ring) add the ( center point/ring) triangle across the three wedge unit. Lay it out, sew three units together to make a large triangle unit, sew three large units together to make a half, sew the two halves together. This one, using 12 1/2” wedges, is 48” across. Perfect for my 42” table
