RE: pattern for Buggy Wheels: I just figured it out from the picture, but the lady whose photo I went by is "Ninnie" on this board. Her posting was entitled "Playing with HST". On page 9, post #87, of her post, she said "It is from a book called QUILT-LOVERS FAVORITES., VOL 10 From American patchwork and quilting. it is published by better homes and gardens."

Thank you all for your encouraging words!

It's a beauty.

What an awesomely beautiful scrappy quilt. I love it. I have so much fabric that I am going to try this. Since I moved into an apt. the 1st of Dec. I have been waging war trying to get my fabric closet put together. A very trying job. But between working at my caregiver jobs, and other things, it has been a chore just getting unpacked and everything in its place but I am absolutely putting this at the top of my list. Thanks for sharing this with us. Awesome job.
Pat

You made an absolutely fabulous quilt! You must have had a ton of scraps and you certainly sorted them carefully. I can only dream about making a quilt as wonderful as this.

hperttula123 10-10-2013 04:23 PM

Love it!!! That is such a great way to use up scraps. I tricked my daughter by looking at your last pic. You have an almost identical bedroom set to my mom. She was a little confused on how her grandma made a quilt like that without her knowing about it. We got a good laugh about that and she thinks your quilt is beautiful too. :)

GrammaNan 10-10-2013 04:31 PM

Amazing! Both sides are beautiful. Well done.

What a jaw dropper! I love your quilt! you are a woman after my own heart with this quilt. I always try to make interesting backs for my quilts and often like the back better than the front, but yours is just plain awesome!
