So I discovered this lovely modern pattern on the Oh, Fransson! blog (link below) and just had to give it a try. Yes, I know, I should be working on all the Christmas presents I have yet to make - but I could not resist trying this little beauty out.
It's a super easy pattern in some ways, and kind of hard in others. It's easy because you pretty much just dig through your scraps and throw stuff together. A little hard because sometimes I arrange it funny and it doesn't quite work, lol. Also, it's a bit time consuming. I haven't decided what this will be. I might just make it a little bigger and turn it into a wall hanging...or if I spread it out over the course of a month or two (and acquire more green scraps, lol), I might make a lap quilt out of it. Pattern found at: http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransso...or-pillow.html The more wonky the better! :) |
