Delivered the baby quilt today
1 Attachment(s)
This is the baby quilt I've been working on..... delivered it today. The baby liked it, too. He's 8 months today and he didn't want to let the quilt go after he started cuddling with it. Yeah!! It's a success.

Very cool!

WOW,this quilt is looking so gorgeous and amazing.
I love it. JOHN |
That's really a great looking quilt. And I hope it gets dragged around, slept on, drooled on, washed and dried a zillion times and you end up using pieces of it in his next quilt!

Success!! I'm sure it'll be loved to bits!! My granddaughter who is now 17 still takes her baby quilt to bed with her!!! It is nearly threadbare, a very washed out colour....no detail of the original panel I used and only the hand quilting holding it together!!! I have made her several quilts over the years but this is her 'go everywhere' comforter!!! It even went on holiday to South Africa!!! I hope your little grandson gets as much enjoyment!!!!

very nice job with years of loving it.

Such a neat quilt! Love the colors and the orientation of the animals, coming and going. Bet it'll be very well-loved!

Very nice. It's great when the recipient loves your work even if they are only 8 months old. Success

Very very clever baby quilt !! Did you design it yourself?? The animals are great !!!
|
wonderful quilt. I was really intrigued by your reverse applique method of making it when you posted it on the circles thread.
|
What a perfect gift for a little guy! I love your use of color and the negative space. Are those animals appliqued? It's a darling quilt.
|
Oooh, really nice. Delivering a baby quilt is so much easier than delivering a baby. LOL
|
very nice quilt!!!!
|
Very cute quilt, sure to be loved. I like how you made the animals so that there's no up and down for the quilt.
|
Thanks, everyone. Your encouragement is what keeps me going with my quilting. Yes, I designed this one myself. I found the perfect fabric and had to fussy cut the animals. I don't applique this type of circle. I stitch it with a method I learned years ago. I call it fabric frames and the circles and ovals always turn out perfectly.

That is so very cute.

It is beautiful and share to become his favorite to drag, drool and cuddle with!
