Several years ago I made new stockings for the family. Then kids started getting married and having kids! I got behind when we had 4 grands in 2 1/2 years! But tonight they are done, except for the hair on an older angel. Enjoy!

Glad everyone likes these! My pattern calls for placing the back side of the leg on the fold--I tried to use the seams of the jeans as the fold. I like the look the flat felled seam makes. I made my lining piece 4" longer at the top for the cuff to fold over. Sewed the stocking and lining as one with a 4" slit for turning on the lining part.
There are two more, but they are in NC with my S and DIL where the snow angel and little boy with the star for the tree are headed. |

This is a really great idea to use the denim. I have the Debbie Mumm patterns these were made from also. The first class I ever took at a quilt shop was making a Christmas stocking using this pattern. Still one of my favorites! So cute!
