I never thought of using denim and corduroy together. Sounds like a winner and I like the way it looks. They've held up really great.

love the denim quilts

that reminds me I have some totes in the loft in garage, and will need to get them down so I can make some denim lap quilts for us

Oh I have no Ideal how they have held up, these pics where taken back when I made them. The boys where in High school then. They where my friends boys who use to hang with my son and I had them in 4H.
Last time I saw them Moma had them put up for them, They are both married with kids now and as I understand they got thier quilts back about 10 years ago.

Very nice! It kinda looks like you zigzagged or satin stitched the blocks together. Am I right? I love denim quilts too, but always felt the seams were bulky. Care to share?, lol.

Nice

I love denim quilts also!!!!

Corduroy is really bad for fraying so I top stitched it after I pieced it. Then I backed the quilts with flannel.
I cut the bulk out of the seams where they meet then quilted them. I use my cheap old brother I bought at walley world 25 years ago. LOL

Thanks to all who posted on this thread. I put the pics up due to a post about a lady being frustrated over her denim quilt. I think is said "slap me if I ever try a denim quilt again" Not exactly what the title said but close.

I love denim quilts! Never done any corduroy though. Something I'll have to try!

I love your denim quilts. And they do last. Both my SIL's have them and love them. I have a few here for dh. Can't ruin denim.
