denim rag quilt

I have bins full of old jeans-decided it is time to cut them up.I cut 8 inch squares and used some flannel that was forgotten on a shelf.I love it.Lesson learned do not do 1st washing at home ever ever again with ragged denim.I have cut enough squares for 2 more lap sized quilts and emptied a large bin,woo hoo.

Great denim quilt! I bet everyone fights over it this winter.:)

I really like how you did this quilt with the denim on the back!! It's gorgeous!! You are one smart gal!!
|
Very nice! I have made so many and it gets to my hands, but everyone loves them. I have about 10 jeans let and it will probably be the last denim quilt I make.

I am collecting jeans too. Love your flannel squares and fringe on one side and the denim on the back. I have heard these are so heavy that your way would make it manageable. Thanks for sharing.

Really cute! I love jean quilts, so warm!

It looks so cuddly.
So you didn't add batting, just backed your flannel with denim, right? I have tons of jeans... my collection and other people's donations :D:D |
