This heavy project is something I did for my son, DIL and two GS's. They have a king size bed. I used their old jeans, fussy cut them on grain, and sewed them with a flat "seam" (laid one raw edge over another) and used red thread with a double jeans needle. Yes, there was much fraying, but I snipped those after the sewing was done. I made use of the pockets and special "items" from the jeans. Pockets were trimmed and sewn closed before using them. The pillows have removable covers. The cover is not quilted. So much for that venture!
Thanks for looking!

Love your quilt! I made 2 jean rag quilts with batting. I used a heavy fleece on the back! They are so heavy and warm. We use them especially outside watching parades and football. I use to find our teens all curled up under them watching movies, too. I'll try to get a pic later today :)

Nice ideas. I believe that I have 4 chairs like the one in the first pic...painted the same also. My grandmother's from around 1930. Always been going to refinish them. They must be for shorter people than me though. Do you have plans to repaint or keep them like that?
