Dennis the Menace
 

The 6 year old boy from across the street loves to come visit. We call him Dennis and he calls us the Wilson's. Lol. So he asked me to make him a pillow and put his "name" on it. ANd then decided he wanted cars and trucks too. It made me so happy to see his smile when I gave it to him!

That is so nice. Love the cars and trucks with the striped fabric.

How sweet is that - and how sweet are you!!!! He will be telling HIS grandkids about the wonderful neighbors he had as a little boy. A wonderful gift.

The pillow is perfect! Your sweet story reminds me of my little paper carrier probably forty plus years ago. It was cold windy day when he knocked at my door. He handed me the newspaper then asked if I could crochet a hat for him just like the one my son was wearing. I told him surely I would do it. He then said that he'd return when he was done with his paper route. YIKES! So I grabbed the yarn and hook and began to crochet. When he got back I was about 1/4 of the way. He sat there and talked with me while I crocheted. DH got back from work and after his shower he sat and talked with us. Well after dark, his mom called to see if I had seen Bart this afternoon. I explained what was was happening. She was so embarrassed. I asked her not to worry, that I didn't mind doing it, and was flattered that he felt comfortable enough to ask for the favor. Needless to say, Bart went home with a warm hat pulled over his ears. So Dennis must love you very much to ask you for the favor.
