Its kinda like a stack n whack in that you dont know what its going to look like til you're done! If you look closely you will see there is no binding. It is a facing which I think really works on an art quilt. Sometimes a binding is very distracting. The judges made a positive comment about doing the facing and having the quilting go right to the edge. |
Gorgeous! Glad you could load it because I wouldn't have wanted to miss seeing your award winner. I managed to upload a picture yesterday but it wouldn't work for me today with a different picture. I think the picture was too large at 330 KG. I will try tomorrow with another picture.
