Design For Tallit bag for DH
1 Attachment(s)
Well - I tried a design for the bag for my husband's tallit (jewish prayer shawl).. Not sure if I'm 100% satisfied with it but the stitching will enhance the contrast and make it more dimensional.

It is really lovely. I love the fabrics and the tree. Surely he will love it.
|
I think this will be beautiful.

I love it.. I have never seen one that was quilted.. Think you might've started a new trend. I wonder if the guys in shul will see it, and want one.. I made one in needle point years ago, and it is very used, but a lot of the guys have them.

It will be a treasure for sure! Very nice.
|
wow, that's the nicest one I've ever seen. beautiful, he'll love it.
|
Very nice.

I didn't know Jewish men used bags for the shawls. Yet another great thing about this board. I've learned a religious lesson today. :) I think the bag you created is wonderful for a religious item. It reminds me of the tree of life.
|
Lovely design! Lots of color, and the buttons add great texture too!
|
Just so long as you don't add one apple and a snake to that tree, it will be great.
