No Kathy the strips are selvege to selvage. However, you might like to do that as another designer touch -- have fun with this. I am working on the tutorial hope to post tomorrow. Nice to see the interest...I have not seen Pattie's method posted anywhere. I will also address the slippage question posted ...

Super fun idea! I think maybe I will try that and a cover for that yukky seat belt. Why not?
