We went to the quilt show in Chicago. My DH picked out the pattern. Came home and picked out the fabric from my stash. He liked my CW fqs. This is the finished lap quilt. He loves it and I love that it is done.

lol That sounds like my 5 year old.

I'm in the midst of one for my husband, who also chose colours and design...it's a big applique project for me. And my first one. Thankfully (ha!), he left the country for a month right after I started it, so I have time to work on it in peace. With any luck, I'll have the top done before he comes home so he won't pester me. :lol:
