Diamond Log Cabin

I started this quilt during a quilt retreat and decided to finish it during quarantine. It measures about 30-inches square and is all paper-pieced. Pattern is by Cindi Edgerton. The pattern came printed on tissue paper which was a horrible nightmare, so I copied the tissue paper pattern onto regular copy paper which made it a whole lot easier to sew and work with.

Another UFO crossed off my list!!

Very nice job and I love your colors.

This is one beautiful quilt! The diamonds are so small and nicely quilted. I can't imagine working with tissue paper. My preference is a lightweight parchment for PP. Thank you for sharing this beautiful work of art!

The whole photo certainly deceived the eye on size. Beautiful work!

Stunning! Love how you have your colors radiating out. Makes your quilt look like 3D

Wow, such small details - and your diamonds look perfect!

Amazing! So beautiful. You are SO brave to work with such small pieces, but it really paid off.

So happy to hear you say that! I find the tissue paper patterns difficult also. I too, copy them and work from copy paper. It's not that I'm trying to make a pattern twice or pass it on. It's just easier to work with something that is not so flimsy.
