"Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend!" I think your quilt came out great. It's a lovely pattern. I'm not fussed over the color and prints. I think this quilt shines. And, I'm usually a bright modern girl also. (in fabrics, lol)

It really wasn’t too bad. It’s strip-pieced to start out. Hardest part was adding the sashing as the instructions gave no info about how to line things up
