This is my first attempt making any kind of bag, tote or what have you. It is for my daughter in law. She and my son are having a little girl. This went together quite easy and the directions were clear. It is a product of Whistle Pig Productions (?) . I bought it at the Golden Quilt Company, Golden, CO.

I am going to make one for my daughter also...they are trying for their second little one.

I am not much into the cutsey baby stuff and neither are they (both daughter and daughter in law.

There are 4 outside pockets and 4 inside pockets

It has a changing pad velcroed on the back.

That is awesome. I love the fact that you didn't use baby fabric. That will be a great bag to use for all kinds of stuff after she doesn't need a diaper bag any more. Did you design it yourself?

Very Very Nice! Love the choice of fabrics! and your right about not using baby fabrics..she can use this at a later time! Kim

The bag is cute, but does anyone know where I can find the Volkswagon fabric? I found some on an Australian site but they want $22 per meter and that's really pricey. Please let me know if anyone has some that they would like to sell, or where I can find some?

Oh, today I went to a small quilt shop I haven't been to in months and I found the pattern you used. So I bought it and am going to make a purse out of it (minus the changing pad of course). Then when I need a diaper bag for someone I will know how difficult the pattern is to make.
I am so excited, thanks for sharing your pictures!!!
