I have those blocks and thank you for showing me what you did!
I love Dick and Jane ... I learned to read with those books (of course, my teacher was old fashioned and believed in phonics <g>) ... and, when Baby Sally showed up, I was THRILLED! LOL
that was well over fifty years ago, and I have never forgotten ...
you have done a fine job showcasing your blocks.
Good show!

Well with your beautiful "Dick and Jane" and the other post on Spirograph...we have had a wonderful time reminiscing. I really love the colours you have used thanks for sharing....and reminding.

I just love what you did with your D & J blocks! The primary colors are perfect for it as are the alternate pinwheel blocks.

Now I think you have done a great job. I have too looked at these panels. I think the pinwheel blocks gives it a vintage look. Thanks for sharing.

Here's a question for you? Who can name all three pets?

Yea omak, she was old fashioned. So was mine. And guess what -- phonics is being taught again. What goes around, comes around.

well, phonics is the best tool a teacher can teach!
The three pets .... Spot, Puff ... and, I can't remember a third pet ...
must not have been one I ever wanted <g>.
