I made a Dick and Jane wall hanging out of the panel I was talking about the other day (pic below). I have it hanging in our sewing room now. Some of my yellow accent squares got a little wonky at the seams, but overall I'm pleased with it. I learned that cutting gingham is a nightmare with a rotary cutter as far as trying to keep the pattern lined up. About half through the project I gave up the rotary cutter and cut the sashing and border strips by hand with my scissors to keep the pattern straight. I also learned that I need to learn how to use my walking foot so that it'll help with keeping things straight.

Eddie, this is so pretty!! I love how it looks and such a cheerful wall hanging to look at each time you enter your sewing room. Gingham is a PITA, IMO as the lines to me always go wonky.. Beatufiul job!!! (thinking I must get this panel)
