What an interesting but maddening experience, but looks like you haveed made the best of it. I love your unusual touch of the bow, it fits! I have been all over trying to find the "Bow-Tuck" purse pattern, but evidently it is pretty hot right now and the stores can't keep it on hand. I've noticed that both McCall's and Simplicity have not had as good directions as they used to for several years now. Since I've been sewing forever, I usually don't bother with the instruction page unless it is something totally unique and then I most often look at it and ask myself 'why did they do it that way?'
