This is from Eleanor Burns book Day & Night. I put sashes between the blocks. And out my window today.. we are having a snow storm.
Great pattern, so sorry about the snow storm, makes ya wonder if Spring will ever get here! LOL!
Very nice quilt.
I will trade your snow storm for our severe thunderstorm. So far spring has not been kind to us at all. |
Great job on the quilt! :)

OMG and i thought we had it miserable here.We haven't had any rains in months, yesterday it was 91,today it might get to 65 with winds gusting to 50 miles. We have had large fires around here almost every day.
You try to stay warm and I will just try to stay upright lol |
That is very pretty. More snow...Mother Nature must have lost her calendar!
Love the quilt, but you can keep the snow. However it is perfect quilting weather.
I love the quilt!
The quilt is fabulous but the weather sucks.

Nice job; beautiful quilt.
Sorry about the snow - am hopeful it's over in NH, but who knows - it snowed in May the first year I was here. |
I am going to make this quilt for my daughter, and had wondered how it would look with sashing. It really makes the blocks pop. Love this pattern. And I understand the snow, we have 4 inches already, and still coming.
Love the sashing on your D&N quilt, it looks great!
Great quilt and I have snow too you must have sent it north lol
It turned out wonderfully. Janelle, it was nice to be in the chat room with you this morning

I remember living in SD...one year it snowed on Easter so I didn't bother to dye the eggs...just left them white and hid them. Found a few of them when the snow melted...LOL.
