Disappearing 9-patch
4 Attachment(s)
This one used a couple charm packs I had and some scraps, and was an effort to try out a Disappearing 9-patch.
Machine pieced, both front and back. Not my finest hand quilting effort, but it's for my 96-year-old Mother-in-Law and she could use a lap quilt now that she's moved north from Florida. I thought she'd like the bright, cheerful fabrics. We'll deliver it over Christmas when we go visit her. She is in excellent health really though her mobility is severely constricted. She is incredibly sweet and cheerful, and often engaged, so I'm looking forward to giving it to her and seeing her face light up. |
Your MIL is going to love it! It's so bright and cheerful.
