I finished this lap quilt top today and when I studied it I felt disappointment. I can't put my finger on it -

I wanted to convey sunshine and flowers. I used a 9.5 in. pinwheel to show the floral fabric off, but maybe I cut it up too much.

Let me know what you think. I value your opinions.

I think it's really pretty!

It's very pretty. Looks to me like a pond on a sunny day, surrounded by flowers.

I think it is a georious quilt. Instead of sunshine and flowers it reminds me of a lake with a beach and lots of flowers and greenery all around.
Just my opinion but I think it is great and you did a fabulous job!

I love the way you ladies put 'ok this really looks like crap' and then I scroll down expecting to see something horrible (like I might make) and I ALWAYS see something beautiful!!

I think its pretty too. If you are wanting more flower to show, maybe add another border of your flower fabric.
