Oh, Lori, you have a good memory!! Yes, I was really unsure about this quilt when I first got the blocks together, but I do like it now. This experience of making quilts for my friends, when they selected the pattern and bought the fabric, has been very interesting. It has taken me out of my comfort zone, for sure, and I am not sure I will do it again....after I make the next two, that is. (I have made two so far, two to go.) I know that if I could visualize the final quilt, it would be easier on me...but I haven't been able to do that yet. :)
