That sashing just makes the quilt! I will have to try that. I have experimented with the 5" charms and the blocks turn out just fine.

Love it, this is the 1st D9P I've seen with sashings.
I made 2 this summer (one I actually helped the mother of the bride make) the other one I made with retro flowers for the main print and bright orange and lime green for a sweet 16. It really turned out cute. I love this pattern its quick, easy and fun and as you see it looks great with sashes, but if you don't like the sash it looks great without. This is a neat way to do the DNP, I had only seen it without sashing. Mine seemed very busy, I like the sashing idea separating the squares.
