Which do you like better? Two bl & wh minis!

I posted one of these a few days ago, just the top. Now that one is hand quilted and bound, but I measured it badly, so it ended up too large for sending to AAQI. So, I did the same pattern over again. This time, I watched my points better, and used just 6 fabrics, rather than 8, trying to get a clearer, crisper look. I also machine quilted the second one -- for the crisper look again.
What do you think? |
Well heck, I really like both of them. they look completely different, but pretty.
Both are nice, but I do prefer the greater contrast of the second one.
I like the first one, don't know why
Hard to decide. Like them both.
Like them both, but if I had to choose, it would be the first one.
i love them both :)
Both are nice, but I prefer the second one which has more contrast.
Both are pretty, but if I had to choose, it would be the one on the left in the first photo. :-)
So fun to see these next to each other. I like the crispness of the second, but also like the border fabrics in the first. Either way they are wonderful!
I like them both.
I like both, but the first has more sublte gradients, which I find interesting.
I like them both, but if I had to choose I'd pick the 1st one. Love the border on that one best.
They are both so nice I can not decided!!!!!
The first one is my favorite the second seems a little flat to me.
I like the one with more contrast. From this photo, the first one I find too distracting. Your good work is kind of lost.
I prefer #2
They both are very pretty. I am drawn to the first one, Good job. BrendaK
I like the first one, mainly because the pattern seems to "flow" better. The second one is nice, but a bit too much contrast for my taste.
Both are fabulous, but I would have to say the second one is my favorite.
Can't choose one, I like them both.
The one on the left - is that your #1. Contrast is much better, and I love, love black and white quilts.
I like the first one best ... mainly because of the wider border, but also the contrast.

I like the second one...however both are beautiful.
I love them both. I read a really great tip the other day. For a quick wall cover a pice of board any size you want and cover it with pretty fabric, Walla you have something beautiful to decorate you sewing room wall or any wall you want. I'm not good at picking out pictures but love love love pretty fabric so I think thats a great idea.
I think they both look great!
1st one for me. But both are great. I have an urge to sew a red button on them! Sorry
I have to say I like the first one better, but both are nice. I like the motion in the first one and its really easy on the eyes, very interesting.
They're both very pretty, but I like the second one best.
Really nice! I like your mitered borders.
Initially I liked the one with more contrast, but the other one i interesting and tends to draw me in more.
Love them! Go AAQI :)
I too like them both, but if only had to choose 1, I would pick the first.
LeslieFrost,
I tend to be the outsider and this time is no exception. I like the action going on in the one on left. best, d |
